Five Pillars: Match-Up & Gap-Fill Activity

  1. Cut out each pillar, cut out each strip with dashes & cut out individual letters.
  2. Children place letters on the gaps to spell each pillar and match the word to the picture of the pillar.

Fun Variations: Laminate each piece, fasten small magnets or blu-tak to materials and have children complete the activity on a wall, fridge or using a makeshift fishing rod with a magnet on the end of the line!

You could stick each pillar & its strip with dashes in different places around the room and have children race to stick letters up.
