About Rabia Bashir

Rabia Bashir is a British-Bangladeshi go-getter who guzzles green tea to get things done! She lives with her travelling buddy and husband Irfan, plus two book-loving boys: Rayyan & Ridhwan. Although her main career was in mental health services, followed by a brief period in teaching; creative writing has been Rabia’s passion since childhood. She has written poetry and drafted a novel for grown-up audiences. But Alhamdulillah, after becoming a mom for the first time in 2016, writing Islamic children's books became her mission! And that's when she set up Precious Bees as an act of Sadaqah Jariyah. In Ramadan 2020, Rabia lovingly changed the name to what she had originally wanted: Bismillah Bees.
