About Rabia Bashir

Rabia Bashir is a multi-award-winning British-Bangladeshi go-getter who guzzles green tea to get things done! And she is the mother of two book-loving boys: Rayyan and Ridhwan. Creative writing has been Rabia’s passion since childhood. She won an award in secondary school for her poetry and after a long gap in writing, she penned her first novel in 2011. After becoming a mom for the first time in 2016, writing Islamic children's books became her mission! And that's when she set up Bismillah Bees as a Sadaqah Jariyah project. She has published more than 15 books, and won 6 awards in the last two years. In the summer of 2023, Rabia started her second independent publishing company - Dreams and Duas - with an extra service to provide guidance calls and manuscript feedback to authors who want to self-publish.
