A portion of the sale of this book will be donated to Ummah Welfare Trust to go towards the construction and maintenance of a girl’s hostel in West Bengal. Desperate poverty in the region of The Sundarbans has led to young girls being married off to wealthy elderly men from neighbouring states, and a significant proportion of girls are being forced into prostitution. The hostel, once built, will support up to 300 potential victims.
