Almost 3 years ago, Rayyan was a month old baby. He enjoyed having his nappy changed while I sang nursery rhymes for him. One day, I was singing his favourite, ‘row, row, row your boat’, and it struck me that I didn’t know any upbeat, catchy and meaningful Islamic nursery rhymes.  Without thinking, I sang a new line: ‘pray, pray, pray salah’. He loved it! And that was the first draft of what later became my ‘Just To Please Allah’ series. The seed.

It took longer than I expected, but almost 2 years later, we published Five Pillars: Just To Please Allah. The seedling.

A few book events and children’s workshops about Five Pillars soon followed. Six months later, Good Deeds: Just To Please Allah arrived. Then came our free printable activities.

And today I announced the arrival of our first YouTube song.

We are blossoming – alhamdulillah!!
